Product Ecosystem Architecture: Mitigating Opportunity Risk in the Brazilian Court Order Market, estimated at over US$13 bi.
Given a judicial payments market that moved more than US$13 billion last year and demands agility in the regulatory process, Paypers needed a complete digital platform in record time. My role as Product Designer & Strategic Consultant was focused on mitigating the risk of launch delays and optimizing investment through a modern and functional Product Architecture. The result was the delivery of the product ecosystem (App for Investors and Holders of Judicial Payments & Internal Administrative Dashboard) in just 20 days, guaranteeing market entry for the Client and reducing future operational costs through a robust Design System.

Business Context and Strategic Challenge
The central challenge was not simply "making an app," but rather capturing a share of a $13+ billion market before the competition established itself. The regulatory complexity and financial volume demanded a solution that offered:
Time-to-Market: Delays would mean missing out on opportunities to acquire lucrative assets. The delivery time was only 20 days.
Operational Efficiency: Managing high-value assets requires clarity and consistency to avoid errors that lead to financial and legal losses.
Investor Credibility: The platform needed to convey trust and security to the end customer who handles large sums of money.
The challenge was how to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability in an agile way.
Design Strategy as Investment Optimization
My role as a Product Designer & Strategic Consultant was to translate the business urgency into a Design Architecture that guaranteed maximum ROI (Return on Investment) and capital efficiency.
The strategic decision was to immediately implement a Design System (UI Kit) as the main resource for risk mitigation and cost optimization.
Business Objective | Design Strategy | Impact on Core Business |
|---|---|---|
Cost Reduction through Rework | Creation of a centralized Design System/Ui Kit (based on Shadecn UI // React Framework) | It avoided rework and future maintenance costs, ensuring that the initial investment in design was long-lasting and scalable. |
Time-to-Market Guarantee | Agile mapping of 25 business flows and high-fidelity prototyping. | It ensured that the 20-day delivery deadline was met, preventing the loss of millions in market opportunities. |
Consistency and Credibility | Visual and functional standardization across more than 150 screens (App and Dashboard) | It reduced the risk of operational errors and increased investor confidence in the platform. |
Stakeholder Alignment | Use of interactive prototypes and visual flows for validation. | It avoided stress and anxiety on the part of executives and the development team, ensuring a fast and clear approval process. |
Business Results and Gains
The project was a success in execution and strategy, demonstrating that design when applied with a business focus, is a value accelerator.
Strategic Launch on Time: The platform was delivered in 14 business days, allowing Paypers to enter the debt settlement market at the ideal time, capitalizing on the regulatory opportunity.
Development Efficiency (ROI): The Design System, with its more than 60 standardized components, served as a capital asset for engineering. This translated into an estimated 30% reduction in front-end development time, freeing up team resources to focus on critical functionalities instead of visual adjustments.
Risk Management: My constant monitoring of the development ensured the application's fidelity, minimizing the risk of usability flaws or inconsistencies that could compromise the investor experience and brand credibility.
In summary, my performance transformed an agile deadline challenge into a competitive advantage, delivering a high-value solution that protected Client Paypers investment and positioned them to capture a market potential of over $13 billion.
